My work as a collaborative with Anna Blasiak will be showing throughout the month of February 2019 at
Brixton Library, Brixton, London, England,
Update: We have been asked by Brixton Library if they can extend our exhibition and so it is still on display at the time of updating this section of the website, please visit and enjoy both our works and the library which is in a beautiful building and has a range of wonderful activities for all interests.
The photos and poems in this exhibition come from Anna’s and Lisa’s book, Kawiarnia przy St. James’s Wrena w porze lunchu (“Cafe by Wren’s St. James’s at lunchtime”; forthcoming from K.I.T. Stowarzyszenie Żywych Poetów, 2019).
Lisa and Anna are partners, both in life and — more and more often — in their creative endeavours. Sometimes the starting point for their projects is photography, but in this case it all started with the poems. The oldest pieces were written nearly 20 years ago and the photographic response to them was created over the period of the last two years.
I am very excited to announce my visual interpretation of The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock with the T.S Eliot Reading group in collaboration with other emerging artists. I have long been a fan of T.S Eliot's work since my time at Basingstoke Technical College where I studied among other subjects English Literature. Please come along and visit the exhibition at the Stretch Gallery, 34-35 Centre Precinct, Upper High Street, Margate, CT9 1JG.
